In this article, we will guide you through the process of Redeeming your Postcards on Open Loot.
- Step 1: Log in to Your Open Loot Account: On the Open Loot homepage, locate the "Sign In" button. Click on it to access the login page. Select the social login button that is associated with the Open Loot account to sign in.
- Step 2: Access the Redemption Tool Section: After successfully logging in, you will be redirected to your account dashboard. Look for the profile icon, located in the top right corner of the page. Click on the icon, and a drop-down menu will appear. From this menu, select the option labeled "Redemption Tool".
- Step 3: Navigate to Redeem Postcards: Once you are in the Redemption Tool section, you will find various options related to Redemption Options. Look for the "Redeem Postcards" tab. Click on it to proceed.
- Step 4: On the redemption page, you will need to connect your personal cryptocurrency wallet where the Postcards are stored. If the Postcards are in your MetaMask wallet, select that option to continue, otherwise for all other wallets select WalletConnect. Follow the instructions to connect your wallet securely.
- Step 5: For security purposes, you will be asked to input your Open Loot 2FA (two-factor authentication) code before proceeding with the transaction. The method of receiving the code may vary, such as via SMS or an authenticator app, depending on your setup.
- Step 6: Select the Postcards to redeem: After successfully completing the previous steps, you will be presented with the options to redeem your Postcards. Ensure that you have the required number of NFTs to receive the Exclusive Wearable associated with each Postcard.
- Step 7: Check NFT requirements: If a certain Postcard requires six (6) NFTs, but you only have three (3), you will not receive the Exclusive Wearable. Make sure you have the necessary NFTs before proceeding. Please note that these actions – once completed and the NFTs are burned, cannot be undone.
If your wallet detects associated NFTs, there will be a button for each postcard that says 'Redeem NFT.' Once clicked, it will display the text 'Burned' to help you see which ones you have, which ones you have burned, and which ones you still need.
Once you click on "burn NFT" the NFT will be on a pending state
After it has been burned it will be flagged as such
By following these steps, you will be able to redeem your Postcards on the Open Loot platform.
